Dinner or brunch, this place is sooooo good. We live a 5 min walk away so convenience is helpful, but really what's great is everything.

They are dog friendly on their patio so easy to walk our dogs over.
They know our names already after coming three times and now we feel like regulars.
Every single thing on their menu is delicious, not afraid to try something new because it's all good.
Brunch is the same! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu and those biscuit beignets

Definitely check this place out, it will be your new favorite spot.

UPDATE: it's incredible what can change in a month. Made 11:45 am reservations for this morning. We walked in to utter chaos. We were told we could have two seats at the bar or wait 20-30 minutes for a table. We didn't have 20-30 minutes to wait (this is why we made a reservation before heading over) so we took the two seats at the bar. We had our dog in the car (since outdoor seating was unavailable) so I put a timer on to check on him in 20 minutes. I can therefore tell you that 18 minutes later, we had not even been acknowledged by a server. It actually took a patron sitting next to us to ask his server to please help us! I ordered the same as I had last time: huevos rancheros with carnitas and my friend ordered the biscuit breakfast with fried chicken and scrambled eggs. Our food came quickly, but mine was cold (perhaps room temperature) and his had no fried chicken and poached eggs which he cannot eat. To top it all off, the staff (while extremely friendly) were all running around like crazy due to how busy it was creating quite the frenetic, stressful atmosphere - the opposite of what I am looking for in a Sunday brunch atmosphere. We waited for the check so long, I actually had to leave to go wait in the car while my friend paid because I could not handle another moment in there.

Original review: We popped in for Sunday brunch here not knowing anything about the place. The food was incredible. The huevos rancheros with carnitas was one of the best I've ever had. My friend had the biscuit breakfast and was extremely happy with everything. We both commented on the combination of flavors and textures. Everything was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying dinner.

Honestly our favorite neighborhood spot! They're so sweet and the food is SO GOOD. The owners always have a spot for us and our dogs on the heated patio and bring them a bowl of water.

Brunch can be busy- but the biscuits make it all worth it! Dinner is always super cute with the pizza oven going, and the pesto gnocchi is one of the best I've ever had.

Make a reservation and prepare yourself for a good time!

We have been wanting to try Creekwood for awhile so we jumped to it on an impromptu date night. We didn't make a reservation and so we had to sit at the bar because it was pretty packed. The restaurant is cozy and you feel a warmth when you dine there.

We wanted to try the lamb however they were out which was a bummer. One of the chefs made two small bruschettas because they didn't have the lamb and boy, was it tasty! We knew the rest of the night was going to go well.

We ordered the burrata which came with fresh Heirloom tomatoes, the mushroom pizza, and the pesto gnocchi. Everything was just perfection. We were stuffed at this point so we didn't have dessert however they had fantastic options. We will definitely be back for the lamb and to check out brunch.

My only ask is that Creekwood opens a second location in Oakland!

Little gem on the other side of Berkeley. Nicely decorated.

Service: we got seated promptly without reservation on Saturday morning. Only few other tables were occupied. Service was attentive.

Food and drinks: Latte was delicious, right amount of foam, milk and espresso. My crab cake Benedict had a little oops. The English muffin tasted bitter for some reason. Wish it comes with more on the side, like potatoes or tomatoes slices. My DHs bacon and eggs was okay, nothing special.

    Price: affordable in Berkeley.

Parking can be an issue. I have seen other customers just park 20 minutes parking in front of store. Doesn't seem safe parking a little further down.
